Wohoo! Tis a Wednesday! Why am I happy? Because I'm on leave from tomorrow onwards! Woohoo! All hail the weekend!
Six Feet Under was fun yesterday. (first time I saw the opening montage, very cool)
"Oh my God, I think David's gay."
"I think David's lucky! Did you get a good look at that guy?"
Was laughing so hard I scared the dog.

Met a few media agents yesterday to find one that's best for the company. Am impressed with the one that took the time to create a presentation for us to view. Rejected the ones that came dressed like they were coming from a wet market. No matter how great you are or how impressive your portfolio, if you can't dress proper for a client, be prepared to lose accounts. Darn I love this power rush! Muahahahahaha....

frustration
Was ready to leave yesterday at 5.20pm as I always do then Boss called suddenly for some last minute work so GAH... had to stay back till about 7. Worse still, it was raining by then! ARGH!
joy
LDP was clear when I left. Was thrilled!
stupidity
Decided to make the u-turn at the Sunway toll and go back to USJ from there, rather than the Federal Highway. Got stuck in backlogged traffic for an hour just at the u-turn. GAH!!!
relaxation
Decided to go get my hair cut since I'm out late anyways. Hairdresser has a new shampoo girl (pretty hot) that gives a terribly good massage. (I wonder what girls get when they wash their hair? A massage as well?) Ah.... extremely relaxed...
shock
Shampoo girl has a terribly thick English accent as she's probably Indonesian. After being mauled on the head with shampoo, I heard her asking, "Are you hard?". Erm... I know she's hot and that the shop's empty but hey... Apparently, she was asking me "Are you HURT" as in "Am I rubbing your head too vigorously?". Weird awkward moment...
tragedy
Hairdresser says I have thinning hair. GAH!!! I'm only 23! Still reeling from shock, ended up buying a costly thinning solution product. Ah well...
fury
Went home to see that my room has been struck by a tornado. Rabbits escaped from their pen (by jumping over a 3ft barricade) and bit ALL my books, clothes and whatever they can reach. Thankfully they didn't pee on my bed though.
more woe
Went to the men's room to pee. Pants dropped and got wet on puddle on floor. So had a wet patch on my posterior and had to go for a meeting in which I had to stand in front of 15 people and present. Thank gawd it dried in time... never thought I will appreciate bad traffic as much.

Your Chance to Spend More Time in Public Toilets
Fri Oct 25,12:58 PM ET
BERLIN (Reuters) - A German psychologist is touting a cure for paruresis, fear among men of using urinals, and seeking volunteers to spend time in public toilets.
Philipp Hammelstein, a researcher at the Heinrich Heine University in Duesseldorf, believed, however, it was not necessarily linked to the size of the sufferer's genitals.
"All healthy men should be capable of using a urinal," Hammelstein told Reuters on Friday. Though findings show six percent of men have an irrational fear of urinating next to others.
Hammelstein said he had already cured several patients and was seeking 60 volunteers for clinical trials to test his cure. The therapy lasts three months and encourages patients to drink a lot, as well as spend more time in public toilets.
He said men usually develop symptoms during puberty.
"It arises through humiliating experiences to do with masculinity," he said.

Here we are again on a Monday morning. Darn...
Had a good weekend. By good I mean lots and LOTS of sleep and good food. :D Attended my cousin's wedding lunch on Saturday. For the life of me I'll never figure out Chinese wedding makans. You fork out huge amounts only to get it back in ang pows. You get crappy hotel food that look good but hardly ever tastes good. People are seated far away and uncomfortably dressed. You can't get any conversation going what with the loud music and worse, the karaoke style singing. And you have people in weird costumes serving you food with strobe lights and smoke effects. Weird. If and when I ever get married, it's gonna be an open air chicken barbeque on a sunday afternoon.

Students to test ride condoms
Thu Oct 24,11:26 AM ET
LONDON (Reuters) - Hard-up students are being recruited to test condoms, rating them for their pleasure, comfort and performance qualities.
The 100-150 successful job applicants will be paid 100 pounds per academic term as they road-test a range of condoms from German manufacturer Condomi.
"The condom testers will be asked to give a pleasure rating. They will not be asked to test quality -- that has already been done," Condomi's marketing manager in Britain Victoria Wells told Reuters on Thursday.
"Test results will be fed back to our research and development department, and we hope that the students who participate will both enjoy the testing and the money, and give us a frank response which we can use for product development," Wells said.
She said adverts had been placed in a number of student publications and will run on several student radio stations from October 25.
Would-be testers will be asked to fill in an application available online at www.condomi.co.uk.
Among the voluntary questions asked of candidates will be: how many partners they have had, how often they have sex and how long its lasts -- with the option to tick various boxes marked from "under one minute" to one marked "1.5-two hours".

Woohoo! FRIDAY! Thank goodness... Woohoo!!!
Am gonna head home again today... with Wallaby and Wombat. Two SWAT teams and an attack chopper will be escorting the convoy so no hopes of any bunny-nappings. :P
Had a freaky dream last night. I blame Six Feet Under. (this is why I don't watch horror movies). Was walking and ended up in a morgue, which just had an accident victim. So, the place was littered with little body parts. WHICH came to life and started crawling and creeping towards me. GAWD it was freaky... DANG!

Yum... am having a hearty nasi lemak for breakfast this morning :) sigh... am all warm, full, and fuzzy all over! If I get to choose my last meal, it'll probably be chicken rice for starters, nasi lemak with ayam rendang and lotsa sambal as the main course, soyabean for the drink and ice-cold ginger taufufah for dessert... ah.....
Got me blazer yesterday, thanks for the advice guys. Got me a dark grey Padini one that's unfortunately oversized. L fits me well but I will not be able to move my hands considering how stiff the shoulder is. XL is good for the shoulders but I'll be relatively swimming in it! hahaha... what to do... can't find any other choices for RM195 which Padini costs (on sale, 50%). Ah well.... (And Meng, Metrojaya was NOT on sale, grrr)
Had dinner at Shakey's last nite and gawd, I'm hooked. Their new (hopefully permanent) la piazza italiana promotion thing is really good. Don't know about the pasta but the pizzas are great! It's thin crust, with lots of fried aubergines, capsicums and onions! All on a sweet soury tomato paste... ah!!! Shioknyer... finally a pizza without that bloated doughy feeling after....
(rabbit update: Wallaby and Wombat will not be underfed! They can grow to as big as they like, just as long as they don't start biting and chasing me around the room as some 'bad' big rabbits are known to do)

There's something about Wednesday that I kinda like. I guess it's because the week is half gone and you're smack used to the routine. Come Thursday and all you can think about is Friday. And Monday, well, you're still trying to get over the snoozing and lazing during the weekend. Ah well...
Am gonna head over to some malls to go blazer hunting. Really hope there are some good ones on sale. Wish me luck.
Wallaby and Wombat are bigger. Guess it's inevitable but darn, my little babies are growing up. (mushy feeling all over)!

Hello Tuesday! Loads of work piled up this week including a website. Can't think of anything I hate more than web-designing. It's so boring and monotonous and dull and (you know what I mean). Anyways, I gotta get a blazer, anyone knows where to get a good cheap one? Tailor made vs off the shelf? HELP!

Argh... monday. Inevitable I guess but at least I had a great weekend! Woohoo... was in a shopping blitz, overcame with the urge to lose money. Went to Ikea, Midvalley, Summit, Subang Parade and Carrefour and got meself tons of stuff :) The highlight tho is a tarot deck with instruction book! Woohoo... have always wanted 1 so am extremely thrilled to find 1 for only RM27. I think it's a great deal and I can't wait to start reading the future and stuff. Anyone game? :)

Friday Friday! Hoorah for Friday! :)
Had a good (rather eclectic) breakfast this morning. 3 slices of bread with plum conserve, 2 wadeh, 1 strawberry yoghurt and 1 grape vitagen. :) shiok...
While walking to work this morning, saw a security guard on his way to the bank near my office. He had his gun in a canvas bag, a newspaper and a bun. And in that short distance to walk to work, he tripped, lost his balance, and almost fell a few times. Gosh... this guy carries a gun. Remind me never to go to that bank ever...
Bought a digicam! Woohoo... ordered it online thru this mega discount store called overstock.com. Got meself a 2.1 megapixel cam for only RM390. Cool! Can't wait for it to arrive. Woohoo...
(Btw, did I mention it's a Friday?)

Good news... instructor's son was NOT kidnapped. He apparently decided to leave the house at 2am and come back the night after. Poor boy's in for a spanking but it sure is a relief. :)
Tis a Thursday! That only means that Friday is soon, and that means the weekend! Woohoo... Will be off to Ikea to furniture shop for my aunt. I dunno wat is it wif furniture shopping but it sure is fun. Birthday gift shopping is the toughest. No matter how well you know the person, it's always almost impossible to get a good gift. (best gifts I can remember includes a Star Trek Voyager Communication Lapel Badge that goes 'treet' 'treet' when pressed, a homemade cheesecake and apple pie!) (weirder gifts include 3 stuffed birds with nametags, cutlery and snoopy in a leather jacket).
Pets update: Wallaby and Wombat seems settled in with their roomier enclosure. So that's good though it's getting a little expensive (and troublesome) to keep buying fresh veggies for them. Not too keen on pellet food unfortunately. Other pets are currently a little neglected though! Among them are 1 tortoise, 1 hamster, 1 dog and 1 featherback (it's a fish).

Some startling news...
Came to work at 7am today. Why's that? Because the gym was closed. Why's that? Because the instructor's son was kidnapped! Gosh... of all things. Child kidnapping has got to rank among the vilest of crimes.. ever. I hope the police finds the kid and I sure as hell hope the police find the kidnapper. People can do the meanest of things sometimes. Look at Bali.

Saw Six Feet Under last night. Am still a little unsure what I saw but did I like what I saw? Yessiree... :) It's so weird it's hard to believe it's American. And gosh... dead bodies galore... and an undertaking takeover? Wows... :) T'was fun... can't wait for the next episode.
Did some room rearranging last night. Split the room into two parts. One for me and my stuff, and another smaller enclosed area for Wallaby and Wombat. Thought it was cruel to keep them in the cage the whole day. Gotta go and brush them tonite tho... they're starting to shed fur and I've been sneezing the whole night. (snort)

This Just In: Skunks Stink
Mon Oct 14, 9:18 AM ET
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (Reuters) - Dirty diapers are disgusting. Rotten eggs smell rancid. But skunks really stink!
That's the finding of a light-hearted U.S. survey sponsored by Renuzit, Dial Corp.'s air freshener unit.
Skunks led the list of the bad odors in the nationwide survey, with 59.7 percent of respondents rating it a 6, the stinkiest rating. Rotten eggs came in second at 47.2 percent, dirty diaper bins received 45.1 percent, bathroom odors were fourth at 37.9 percent and dairy farm smells were fifth at 31.6 percent.
Participants were allowed to rank more than one smell as the stinkiest.
The poll was conducted on America Online Web sites and select subsidiaries. The poll was conducted in conjunction with the launch of a new Renuzit air freshener, Renuzit Super Odor Neutralizer.
Respondents also nominated their own malodorous offenders that were not part of Renuzit's original suggestions, with the top being spoiled meat, sewers and pet urine.
Also receiving votes: "politics" and "the guy I have to work with."
dan: makes u wonder doesnt it...

Monday all over again. Had a great weekend, which basically meant I ate tons, slept for hours and watched tv till I faint. Woohoo :) PLUS, sis baked me an apple pie as a belated birthday present. Considering that it's her first attempt, it turned out pretty good. Am a happy happy boy :) Wallaby and Wombat were well behaved too, especially in the car. Life is pretty good.

Toilet Paper Novels Hit Stalls
Thu Oct 10, 8:42 AM ET
FRANKFURT (Reuters) - Germans who like to read on the toilet no longer need to take newspapers in with them, but can instead turn to novels and poems printed onto toilet paper, a German publisher said on Wednesday.
"We want our books to be used. That's our philosophy," said Georges Hemmerstoffer, head of the Klo-Verlag which publishes the toilet paper literature. About half of all people liked to read on the toilet, he said.
Poems by German literary giants Heinrich Heine and Christian Morgenstern, as well as tales and detective stories could be found on the toilet rolls, Hemmerstoffer told Reuters at the Frankfurt book fair.
Each text was printed several times on one roll, so that readers could actually use the paper and still leave behind some entertainment for the next toilet visitor.
VIDEO GAME KILLS MAN
A 24-year-old South Korean man died after playing computer games nonstop for 86 hours. The jobless man, identified by police only by his last name Kim, was found dead on Tuesday at an Internet cafe in Kwangju, 260km south-west of Seoul, they said.

Woohoo... 2 days to the weekend. Spent half the day today in Putrajaya doing some presentations. So for those who messaged in my absence, sorry for the lack of a reply! Anyways, the office buildings in Putrajaya are incredibly beautiful. Stunning landscapes, fine finishings. All that's gone though when it's 4.45pm coz it seems EVERYONE leaves at the same time. Talk about government culture... too bad though. Guess the working environment only goes so far.
Update on me pet rabbits : WOOHOO! they have learned how to use the litter box.... I could just cry... :D (doing the dance of joy) (barbeque postponed)

It's a pleasant Wednesday morning and I've calmed down a bit :D Really need to learn stress management before I lose my hair. Anyways, still have work due from last night. Traffic was bad but could have been worse. You wonder, with all the roads and highways... ah well. Wombat and Wallaby are SLOWLY getting the hang of housetraining. They have stopped peeing outside the cage but the poop is still another matter. Also learned that you cannot keep carrots in damp closed containers, otherwise they rot and grow mold. (don't give me that look, i thought the water would help keep it fresh and I had to close it otherwise the rabbits will eat them up). Good day to all now! Till next we blog.

ARGH! I hate work... dem. Am just about to leave the office on a very late, dark, wet and dank Tuesday and IF the traffic is still bad, I swear I'll scream! GRRrrrr... All this boy wanna do is go home as usual, take a nice bath, have dinner and play with my rabbits, AFTER 9 hours of work in the office. GGrRRr....
Howdy... back in the office again. Was in Kuala Terengganu on Monday, so am pretty pooped. Terengganu is such a dead place... went to KUSTEM, formerly UPM Terengganu for some business stuff. It's so quiet and idyllic that you wonder how any studies get done. They have a beach and an island all for the students! Ah well... ('fond' reminiscing of Bukit MMU).
Rabbits update : Wallaby and Wombat have a habit of biting through everything and pooping everywhere. Am close to barbequing them. Grr... hoping they learn to housetrain themselves MIGHTY soon.

I HAVE RABBITS! I HAVE RABBITS! Bought a pair of mix breed angora ones from a breeder. Only 3 weeks old and already as big as some full size rabbits. They're gonna get huge! :D All white with lots of fur, and eats food like there's no tomorrow. Woohoo... am thrilled. They're currently bunking with me in my room running about and unfortunately pissing everywhere too. Ah well... small sacrifices. :D The names Wombat and Wallaby btw. If you wanna know why, look up Jumbuck in the dictionary :D
Hi! ... am back online after a 3 day hiatus from work, the internet and the incredulous PJ traffic. :D Was in Genting for 2 nights and had a ball of a time. Did nothing but eat, sleep, and watch movies. T'was great! Transport tho is another thing. Didn't want to drive coz the last time I did, brakes didn't quite work too well so had a might close call. PHEW. So planned to take the bus. Arrived at the Gombak Putra LRT at about 1050 and the queue was already so long. Managed to get tickets for 1pm only so ditched the tickets and took a cab for RM16 per person. Unfortunately, snared myself an F1 wannabe who sped up the hill in record time. Stayed in 4th and 5th gears throughout with engines gunning while overtaking every vehicle while careening over sharp bends. Gawd was I relieved when I arrived. Phew... the driver has 13 kids btw, go figure. Anyways, Genting is ok... weather was great (reminded me of Seattle) though the wallets do get a tad burned. BUT, it's a holiday after all and all's well. Came down by bus, uneventfully, and here I am on a Sunday, dreading Monday. How quick doth thee weekend fly...

I finally caved in... Daniel now has a blog. :D I have no bloody idea what to do with it but I guess I should say something bout the title. Jumbuck, (melancholy moment) was my first hamster. A brown Syrian hamster that (honest to goodness) walked into my house while I was watching Chicago Hope. Other than miraculously surviving the many many cats outside and my sister (who almost killed it because she thought it was a rat), he lived to a good old age and died half bald. Ah... jumbuck... how we missed thee. :) Anyways, still figuring out how this works so till then, I guess this pretty much sums up my introduction. Ta da!
(ps : updates only on workdays so since I'm on extended leave, this site will be static till next Monday, ciaos!)
